Today is the day! 👻 At 3 PM CST, we’re dropping a Halloween #RuggedAdventure with @onxoffroad on the channel that you won’t want to miss! Watch it whenever you want, but my recommendation? Wait until after dark. 👀 Also, because I’m a sappy SOB sometimes, I want to take a second to give some love to the folks at onX. It’s rare to find a company willing to get behind projects like this. OnX has believed in my wild ideas, from UFOs to ghosts and just about everything in between. As a creator, there’s something really special about working with a company that doesn’t just see the value in the numbers, but also appreciates the art and storytelling. To Brandon, Rory, and the entire team at onX, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for trusting me, giving me the creative freedom to chase these ideas, and believing in projects that don’t always fit the mold. Now, let’s go find a dead man. 🪦 #bakeroverland #overlanding #onxoffroad #halloween

When I was a kid, my mom would draw treasure maps on notebook paper and burn the corners on the stove. She’d take those burned maps out to our flower beds, rub a little dirt on them, wrinkle them up, then roll them tight and tie them with a piece of string. To my young mind, those maps weren’t make believe. They were real. Some of my fondest childhood memories began with those burned, dirty sheets of paper. I’d strap a toy sword to my hip, grip that homemade map in my hand, and head into the woods for hours of adventure. There were treasures to find, mysteries to solve, and entire worlds waiting to be discovered. I’m a grown man now, but the magic my mom created with a simple piece of notebook paper is something I’m still chasing to this day. Looking back, I don’t think she ever realized just how much those little adventures would shape the person I’d become. We all have a story to tell, and this Friday at 3 PM CST, I get to share a little piece of mine. I hope you’ll come along for the adventure. #ruggedadventures #bakeroverland #overlanding #onxoffroad #sanjuanmountains

I’m normally not one for spoilers but you’ll want to stick with the video to the end. We might have found him… 🫣😬🪦 Friday 3pm CST #bakeroverland #overlanding #ruggedadventures #onxoffroad #halloween

This is long for a reel but I couldn’t find a spot to cut it where it didn’t break my heart 😂. So you get two full minutes of majesty. It’s hard to imagine traveling this road in a horse drawn wagon back in 1877. At 12,800, Engineer Pass is impressive. But long before it became a bucket list destination for us offroad enthusiasts, this rugged route was used by miners, freight wagons, and stagecoaches traveling through the San Juan Mountains. The road was constructed by Otto Mears, a legendary road builder known as the “Pathfinder of the San Juans.” His work helped connect remote mining communities to the outside world. Getting to experience the same incredible mountains from behind the wheel of our trucks is wild. And here’s something even crazier. These mountains were shaped by ancient volcanic activity, and Engineer Pass actually sits along the rims of two extinct volcanic calderas. But this pass isn’t the story we came here to film. We were chasing down the tragic history of a 39 year old miner that lost his life deep underground. The full video drops Friday at 3pm CST. #BakerOverland #EngineerPass #Colorado #SanJuanMountains #onxruggedadventures
